About this app
Hear the word. See the picture. Say it together.
Kid Talking Points TV turns your Apple TV into a simple picture-and-word
deck for children learning to talk — and now, learning to read.
Press play and the word is spoken aloud. Swipe to move to the next one.
That's the whole app. It is built for an adult and a child sitting
together, not for a child to use alone.
Talking Mode
A big picture with the word above it. Your child sees a dog, hears "dog",
and tries to say it.
Reading Mode
The word fills the screen and the picture shrinks to a small hint. For
children who are past their first words and starting to read.
Guess Mode
The answer stays hidden. In Talking Mode the word is covered — one dot per
letter — so your child names the picture first. In Reading Mode the picture
is covered instead, so they read the word first and then check. Press play
to reveal.
Auto Play
Words advance on their own every 3, 5, or 8 seconds, with a pause for your
child to answer. Hands free, for when you are holding a toddler instead of
a remote.
Settings

South African — or let them rotate.
- Slow the speech down to separate the sounds inside a word.
- Print words as Word, word, or WORD.
- Shuffle the order, or start with the shortest words first.
- Progress saved per topic, with a reset for any one topic or all of them.
Topics
Over 250 words across 13 topics: First Words, Transportation, Animals,
Bugs, Clothing, Food, Colors, Shapes & Colors, Color Items, Make Believe,
Letters, Numbers and Combinations.
No ads. No in-app purchases. Works without an internet connection.
While it is designed for children speaking their first words, it also
works well for older children and adults learning English.
