About this app

Two Players. One Phone. No Waiting Around.

Set your phone flat on the table and sit across from each other. Every screen faces the right way for both of you. Red plays from the bottom and Blue from the top.

Play with your date, or with your kids while you wait for your food. Use it to decide who buys the next round. Each match takes a minute or two, and the questions and puzzles change every time you play.

8 Head-to-Head Games

  • Odd One Out: Spot the one that doesn't belong before they do.

  • Tap Fast: Drum your pads to push the bomb over to their side before it blows.

  • Air Hockey: Real physics. First to 7 goals wins.

  • Tic-Tac-Toe: Vanishing mode gives you only 3 marks each, so no more ties. Classic mode is there too.

  • Quick Draw: Wait for the signal, then tap, double tap or swipe first. Touch too early and they get the point.

  • Memory: Repeat the pattern. It grows by one each round, and the first mistake loses.

  • Math Race: Solve it first. Pick Easy or Hard.

  • True or False: Call it fast. A wrong answer locks you out. Pick Easy or Hard.

Why You'll Keep Coming Back

  • Both players tap Ready, so nobody gets a head start

  • A running score for tonight shows who's ahead across every game

  • No accounts, no setup and no internet needed

  • Scores reset when you close the app, so everyone starts fresh next time

Waiting for your food? Stuck in a waiting room? Settling an argument? Grab the phone and play.

Frequently asked questions

What is 2 Players 1 Device: Tabletop?

A two-player party game app for iPhone and iPad played face to face on one device laid flat on a table, with Red at the bottom and Blue at the top and every screen facing both players. Includes eight head-to-head games (Odd One Out, Tap Fast, Air Hockey, Tic-Tac-Toe, Quick Draw, Memory, Math Race and True or False), a running score across the night, and no accounts, setup or internet connection.

What devices does 2 Players 1 Device: Tabletop run on?

2 Players 1 Device: Tabletop runs on iPhone and iPad. It requires iOS 17.0 or later. Both players share the same device, so only one phone or tablet is needed.

Do both players need their own phone?

No. The phone lies flat on the table between the two players. Red plays from the bottom edge and Blue from the top, and every screen is laid out so both players can read it from their side. There are no accounts to create and no internet connection is needed.

What games are in 2 Players 1 Device?

Eight quick head-to-head games: Odd One Out, Tap Fast (push a bomb to the other side), Air Hockey with real physics, Tic-Tac-Toe with a Vanishing mode that prevents ties, Quick Draw reflex duels, Memory pattern repeats, Math Race and True or False, the last two with Easy and Hard levels. Each match takes a minute or two.

Is there a two-player game for one iPhone to play at a restaurant?

Yes. 2 Players 1 Device: Tabletop is built for exactly that: set the phone on the table, sit across from each other, and play short head-to-head games while you wait for food, sit in a waiting room, or settle who buys the next round. Both players tap Ready before each game so nobody gets a head start, and a running score tracks who is ahead for the night.
